My first day of work as a professional librarian.
Twenty five years ago today.
I have learned so much in my job.
I knew so little about vision loss and visual impairments before.
I have had so many opportunities - to create documents, make presentations, conduct webinars, attend conferences, and even be a podcaster!
My work often doesn't feel like work because it is also what I am interested in - learning about technology, resources, organizations, health and wellness.
I am doing what I love to do - researching, sharing information, and helping people.
I am grateful every day for my job, and for the ability to work.
I am proud to be a librarian.
